Announcing our Fusion 360 Partnership

Find me on:

We’ve used Autodesk’s CAD/CAM application Fusion 360 extensively, and it’s one of the best ways to design for the Othermill. It has powerful solid/freeform modeling modes, rich file support, and integrated three-axis CAM functionality. It also works great on Mac OS and enables easy collaboration between project contributors. If you’re new to CAD and CAM, Fusion 360 is a great first step — and if you’re an experienced CAD/CAM user, it has many of the powerful features you’re used to.

That’s why we’re excited to announce a new partnership with Autodesk Fusion 360. We’ve worked with Autodesk to make sure that Fusion 360 works seamlessly with the Othermill. Fusion 360 comes preinstalled with an Othermill post-processor, so all you need to do after setting up a CAM job is export your toolpaths, load them in Otherplan, and click “Cut.” If you’re just getting started, check out our new Fusion 360 + Othermill getting started guide and downloadable Othermill Tool Library.

We’re also happy that, through our partnership, we’re able to offer all new Othermill owners a one-year commercial subscription to Autodesk Fusion 360 for free. Starting soon, Othermill boxes will include a card with instructions to redeem this offer. If you’ve already purchased an Othermill V2, or if you can’t find the coupon code, please email us at with your Othermil serial number and date of purchase. This is a limited-time offer subject to applicable terms and conditions.
