One of our Manufacturing Technicians, Alana, made a group present for her tight-knit community of housemates.
She designed and cut a set of bracelets, one for each roommate. They were made out of thin brass sheet, which Alana covered in brass black. Brass black is used to patina metal, and it’s also how most trophy makers fill in the lettering on trophies.
After the brass black was dry and hard, Alana selectively milled away spots on an Othermill to form the pattern, then cut out in the shapes she wanted.
They snap together to form a puzzle.
They wear them as nifty talismans of their friendship.
We are also pretty sure this is also how they form Voltron.
